Regeneration Mensuration Newfoundland Canadian Forestry Service Acquisition of colour video imagery for positioning, track recovery and as an aid to site condition analysis.

Five Year Assessment Northern
New Brunswick Fraser Inc. Video imagery used in sighting and flight line track recovery over 7,000 ha of forest cutover for the assessment of stocking and competition.

Coral Reef Ecology and Beach Erosion Barbados Ministry of Housing and Lands
Barbados A comprehensive coastal zone study which included colour video surveys to assist in determining the extent and cause of beach erosion.

Transmission Line Conductor Clearance Southern Ontario Ontario Hydro Acquisition of video imagery along an electrical transmission corridor to aid in flight positioning and span and underbuilt identification.

River Ice Survey Lachine Rapid Hydro Quebec River transects were flown during 2 winter months with colour video imagery. The ice was classified and surface area (m2) and percentage ice cover were calculated by using a computerized video image analyzer.

Time Lapse Video River Monitoring Humber River
Toronto Ministry of the Environment A microprocessor controlled time lapse video system installed overlooking the Humber River mouth monitored the intrusion of Humber River water behind the Humber Bay breakwater. Video imagery was also used to interpret wave direction, wave velocity and other environmental parameters.
