Web-Based Enterprise GIS Implementation

Hunter GIS is pleased to announce that it has been retained by the Indianapolis Water Company (IWC), Indiana, to assist with their corporate Intranet GIS start-up based on the Autodesk MapGuide and ORACLE platforms. IWC provides a safe water supply for residential, commercial and industrial uses, and fire protection services in Indianapolis, Indiana and surrounding areas. The company has been in operation for more than 120 years and currently serves approximately 260,000 customers.
IWC initiated the project by purchasing Autodesk MapGuide together with Hunter’s newly released v5.0 MapGuide Component Application Toolkits, including Query/Buffer, Clipping, Redlining, Utility Shutoff and Thematic Mapping. IWC is implementing web-based GIS Solutions in order to achieve their corporate goal of on-demand web-based access to up-to-date water infrastructure and network operational management information.
Hunter provides IWC with advanced Solution development and remote support for all aspects of the MapGuide Enterprise GIS Implementation on an as required basis.
