MapGuide API Extensions v5.0

General Overview The Hunter GIS API Extensions are a suite of ActiveX Controls that provide public methods that extend the programming capabilities of the MapGuide Viewer API through a set of public methods accessible through JavaScript and VBScript code. These controls are geared towards application developers that require a degree of flexibility in designing and implementing specific solutions on the client-side. The suite includes the following controls: ClipApi - write map objects and text to SDF, SHP or TXT files on a client-side drive ClipPoly - clip map objects to a polygon ReadSdf - read objects from an SDF file on a client-side drive ReadShp - read objects from an ESRI Shapefile on a client-side drive Snap - snap digitized objects to other objects in the map Thiessen - generate the Thiessen polygons associated with a set of points TinApi - generate a TIN and contour lines from a set of points DownloadGUI - write map objects to SDF, SHP, DXF or POL files on a client-side drive For a demonstration of the controls, go to the page: MapGuide Solutions and Applications.
